Social activism has never been more fashionable. Miu Miu‘s new campaign, shot by Alasdair McLellan in Arcosanti, Arizona (the 1970s urban experiment by architect Paolo Soleri) stars models and movie stars who are also social activists. Styled by Katie Grand with art direction by Giovanni Bianco, the shoot stars Elle Fanning (who promotes gender equality with Real Girl), Adwoa Aboah ( a supporter of Gurls Talk, Save the Children and Heads Together), Edie Campbell (who writes about abuse within the fashion industry) and Cameron Russell who often uses her Instagram account as a viral message board to tell stories of sexual harassment in the modeling industry and has an equal-opportunity platform called Space-Made.
